The team of consultants and assistants he has built has a professional background in international firms and is very much result oriented with reactivity, alertness and creativity in their way of coaching their clients. Most of them have held management positions or been in charge of business units and have the adequate listening skills to assist their clients.
They share a common vision of their role : make sure each client becomes proactive in his own career transition and takes advantage of group dynamic to benefit of every networking opportunity within Nexmove.

Communication
Good communication of one’s objectives or projects is often the key to a successful approach to professional repositioning.
When learning how to better communicate, nothing beats confrontation with other people. It is in this climate that Nexmove consultants regularly run a joint intensive two-day course during which they get the most out of group dynamics (6 to 8 people per workshop).
The first thing to do is to realise that communication is above all a matter of perception and that such perception stems just as much from the words uttered as from all the non-verbal elements accompanying them.The exercises are perfectly staged in terms of difficulty so as to enable each person to show himself in the group’s mirror in gradual and serene fashion. The program alternates theoretical exercises (totally interactive nevertheless) with practical sessions where use is made of video.
Program:
- Day 1 :
- As a preamble, a few role-plays to get together and release natural inhibitions, refine one’s capacity for observation, become aware of one’s own implicit analytical grid. The aim being to narrow the gap between what each person wishes to project and what he actually projects so that everyone is able to put his communication in the service of his goals.
- This is followed by an exchange of views on the founding principles required for intelligent communication, with three watchwords: appeal, convince, secure.
- Then a practical session on time management pointing out the relativity of time according to situations and individuals and supplying follow-up activity reports for a better organisation.
- Day 2 :
- Primary target is to take a broad view of what a network approach can be: identify it, develop it, keep it alive, rejuvenate it. But above all, perhaps, how to appropriate it on the basis of what makes one “tick” or “stall”!
- Work also on interview techniques by sharing one’s experience: reasons for departure, strong/weak points, management style, motivations, remuneration...
- The video sessions enable each participant to sharpen their presentation (NB: 3 minutes maximum!) and to collect feedback, as relevant as it is friendly, from the group… and the consultants.
Two days rich in exchanges of views that weld the group together and form part of the beginnings of a new internal Nexmove network… assuming the will is there.

The emergence of web 2.0 has increased the volume of available information by facilitating the creation of online content for the web surfers and promoting the development of on line and collaborative tools.

1st day :
- Acquire the fundamentals necessary to an optimal use of internet
- Discover the different search tools and their advanced features
- Build your digital identity
- Select your sources and organize your business intelligence
- Get accustomed to collaborative tools
This very intense day will help you optimize your investigation methods, better monitor your digital identity and organize your business intelligence. And it will also let you discover online tools often related to familiar issues.
2nd day :
It is organized as a group workshop. Participants will set their personal tools on their own computer and get answers to most FAQ.

A 1-day training session led by Jacques FAUGERON to overcome stagefright and stress by staying in control!
Jacques has always been an actor. At Nexmove he is responsible for coordinating a highly concentrated day that more resembles a training session than a course.
And for the participants in this training session, the challenges are really tangible:
- How to give the best account of oneself interview after interview?
- How to give the best of oneself while remaining…oneself?
- How to prepare oneself to feel the need for something… so as better to communicate that need?
- How to reveal one’s rough edges and stay natural for the sake of greater impact?
- How to improvise with talent to lend one’s message greater substance?
Jacques takes the group of 6 to 8 people he is responsible for into the realm of physical preparation… like a sports coach!
Program :
- Opening up all the body’s possibilities
- Control of breathing
- Optimisation of articulation
- Placement of the voice… so that the look, the silences and the smile required for genuine contact can take their rightful place in the interviews.
Little theory, maximum amount of in-situation training: the body moves, the blood rushes, the tongue clicks, the gaze precedes the utterance. Each person asserts his presence, becomes aware of his body, and gradually the latter becomes an ally in a more open, truer and deeper communication.

A 1-day course conducted by Marie CASEL-DOUEZY to make you aware of the importance of the consistency between the image you show and your environment.
Marie is a special person with an amazing presence. When she enters a room, silence falls and all eyes turn in her direction.
Her objective is extremely operational. Here there are no formatted clones, or caricatures of young (or less young!) dynamic executives. Her profession is rooted in the concrete: she is an image counsellor and knows perfectly well that an image is always in the service of something else.Her first question to participants sets the tone: “Does your communication correspond properly to your business project”?
This is just to remind you that in the end everything comes down to communication: our discourse naturally, but also our expressions and gestures, our glasses, our make-up.. or absence of make-up, our accessories, or absence of accessories, the colour and cut of our clothes and hair! Items that say a lot about us, more often than not without our realising it and whose impact on our interlocutors remains unknown to us!
Throughout the course Marie will help each member of the group render his image consistent with his own objectives (while respecting his personality) using a dash of theory and and lots of practice.At the conclusion of this day, the participants will have put into practice some of Marie’s advice: there are those who feel more assertive, while others seem more youthful and still another is thinking about getting new glasses. All of them are ready to take to themselves the Nexmove’s communication watchwords: “appeal, convince and secure”.
With a new image whose effectiveness can very easily and speedily be put to the test when confronted with a potential recruiter.

Most managers and senior executives working in internatonial environments must speak perfectly at least a second language…mostly English.
Nexmove train those with a sufficient level in English to impact communication during a workshop led by Peter Ryan.
2 main issues:
- Group work on key principles about CV and interviews

This training helps lower the stress and stagefright of those not too familiar with Shakespearian expression!

A half-day workshop on the concept of wellness led by Josée CLOUTIER.
If a professional break often has psychological effects, it is too often forgotten that one must measure the physiological effects as well: sleep disorders, stress, disturbances in attitudes to food…
From her personal and professional experience as nutritionist, Josée wanted to share with the executives undergoing outplacement at Nexmove her thoughts on the concepts of life-balance and wellness.
4 days prior to the workshop, the participants are asked to fill in an anonymous questionnaire about their way of life. This enables Josée to personalize her action. Each presentation is then made on the basis of regular enrichment from the specific participation of the group.
The workshop is essentially regulated by the discovery of some simple and concrete principles governing relaxation, diet, physical activity to be kept in mind so as to maintain equilibrium of body and mind.

Hiking
4 or 5 times a year, Jean-Noël Merkenbrack, consultant at Nexmove takes out a group of 10-15 adepts for a hiking workshop. Hiking in small groups to discover treasures of nature around Paris to laugh, exchange and move. “La coulée verte”, Rambouillet and Fontainebleau forests, Vincennes park, Chevreuse valley, ...
Another way of envisaging transfer of experience, contacts, networking.
Library
Nexmove life wouldn’t be complete without its intellectual part. The library is a true institution! Aside from newspapers, magazines, directories and professional publications available, Nexmove encourages everyone to share the books they have enjoyed by lending them to the Nexmove library. Novels, essays, comics, management, sociology, art, sport, thrillers…any style is present.

Competition is everywhere in the business world. So, why bother with another competition, and a sports one on top of it? Because, when a Nexmove team takes part to that exclusively women’s jog race of 6.5 kms around the Eiffel Tower, it’s just for fun…and to detox head and body! Josée and sandrine are there to train and motivate the troops while training, during the race and to celebrate the performance (17th out of 159 teams in 2010!)…

Nexmove Club is a social network gathering on-line executives currently in or out of job having experienced or experiencing a professional repositioning process with a Nexmove consultant.
Each client receives upon arrival a login and password allowing him to connect to the Intranet and create his profile that will enrich a database of hundreds of members. As for other social networks such as Linked-in, Facebook or Viadeo, members can update, modify or enrich their profile upon request.
Club members have developed since 2004 close links and often turn to the database when they need to recruit a specific profile. Every year, several members find a new position directly thanks to another member’s support and assistance.
Once a year in June, Nexmove invites Nexmove Club members to a big party (on average 250 to 300 attendants!). A unique opportunity to meet new faces or meet again members you haven’t seen for a while in a festive context!

Firstmove

Most of the time, young graduates are not prepared to start their job search in a professional manner.
Nexmove has created at their benefit Firstmove, an association resting on a voluntary support from sponsors eager to assist them in their first job search.
Under Karima Gamgit’s initiative (she’s general manager in the publishing sector), Firstmove recruits its sponsors within the Nexmove Club database identifying members from different sectors and positions and getting them in touch with the young graduates.
To benefit from this unique assistance, young graduates must apply to Firstmove specifying their objective and the difficulties they encounter in their job search. After a preliminary interview with a Nexmove consultant, they are directed to a potential sponsor.
The 6-month assistance period consists of regular meetings to help graduates in finalising their professional objective, their CV, organising their network, preparing and debriefing interviews. Each graduate will naturally benefit from the Nexmove Club network and some Nexmove customers are committed to meet these particularly well trained candidates.
A socially reponsible approach for Nexmove, an opportunity to save time for young graduates!
